Meet your Instructor: Tim Snyder
Hello, I served the county of El Dorado for over twenty four years as a Probation Officer. During my career I developed a passion for teaching. Specifically handgun training, use of force, de-escalation and Officer safety. True North Defense is dedicated to providing personalized, one-on-one self-defense training, focusing specifically on handgun instruction. My training techniques have been developed through not only law enforcement training, but application of that training over my career. As a POST & California DOJ certified instructor since 2018 and a field officer since 2017, I aim to build confidence and competence in every student. Safety and empowerment through training is my utmost priority.
